Security support built around rural sites
Large fields, isolated tracks, hedges and scattered outbuildings make farms difficult to monitor from one position. Fixed cameras protect specific points, but activity can take place beyond them. A drone provides a temporary aerial viewpoint across the area where the concern has been reported.
Typical concerns
- Suspected trespass or poaching activity
- People, dogs or vehicles moving after dark
- Remote machinery, fuel stores and outbuildings
- Access tracks, field boundaries and damaged gates
- Activity disturbing livestock
Thermal sensing may help locate heat signatures, while the zoom and low-light cameras provide additional context. Where lawful and agreed, coordinates and recorded imagery can support an authorised security response.
What the service does—and does not—do
Elev8 UAV supplements existing security measures; it does not replace the police, licensed security personnel or emergency services. If a crime is underway or somebody is in immediate danger, contact the police first.
Flights depend on airspace, weather, privacy, permissions and a safe operating area. Keith will discuss the site and the concern before confirming whether a deployment is practical.
