Targeted imagery for better decisions

A drone inspection can capture detailed views of elevated, remote or awkward areas before scaffolding, access equipment or personnel are committed. It provides visual evidence that can help a property owner, contractor or specialist decide whether closer investigation is required.

Suitable inspection work

  • Roof coverings, gutters, chimneys and visible storm damage
  • Solar panels and installations
  • Farm buildings, warehouses and outbuildings
  • Perimeters, access routes and large rural properties
  • Construction progress and site overview imagery

The Matrice 4T combines a powerful zoom camera with thermal capability. Thermal imagery can identify surface-temperature differences, but it must be interpreted in context and does not replace a specialist building, electrical or engineering diagnosis.

A planned and proportionate operation

Before flying, Elev8 UAV considers the objective, site layout, nearby people, airspace, weather and privacy. The flight is then planned to capture the required angles efficiently rather than collecting unnecessary imagery.

Outputs can be agreed in advance and may include selected still images, video or observations relevant to the brief. Where another qualified professional needs to interpret the results, the imagery can support their assessment.
